Versatile, Vulnerable, Warm, Wise, and Grounded.

British born - of the Caribbean Diaspora (Iberian Jewish, Jamaican, plus some). I find myself leaning into the experiences of immigrants, those of mixed heritage and outsiders. The experience of not being moored in any one community as a child, gives me a perspective that informs my work. Stories of emigres, misfits and the misunderstood are of particular interest to me at the moment. Multi racial and multi ethnic straddling cultures and identities, I am able to explore and share my whole self through the tender stories I narrate.

I am a classically trained actor - nimble with characters, and accents including: British (RP, Midlands, Northern, Irish, Welsh, Scottish, West Country and more) as well as “common-wealth” accents and dialects such as Jamaican and Australian. Excellent American Standard Speech and General Southern US.

I am a single mum of a teen, and drag said teen to museums and performances whenever possible. I love theatre, and comedy and improv…I garden, I crochet, I bake, and travel whenever possible - be it on adventures to new places or to visit the friends and family scattered on three continents!

Consider me for your stories of forbidden relationships, difficult family dynamics, psychological thrillers, and “batty eccentric” driven cozy mysteries. My sweet spot? Historical fiction, and wry and witty dark comedies. Delicious! x
